Fruit of the Vine: "A Little Child Shall Lead Them"

"And A Little Child Shall Lead Them." Isaiah 11:6

One beautiful day back in 2006, while living in Texas, I was driving and meditating.  I don't know what sparked it; maybe a conversation I had had, or maybe something I had recently heard on the radio or saw on TV...but the Spirit of the Lord moved "heavily" upon my heart to pray, right then and there, for ALL of the Children, His Babies, being cared for, adopted, and raised by Homosexuals, "Gay & Lesbian" couples.  What the Spirit had me speak was the Blood of Jesus on and over these children; that the eyes of these children would one day be open, in some way, to the truth of their "parent's" ungodly choice of lifestyle; and that they (the children) would abhor it... But also, that the Lord would one day use the Children, through the parent/child bond and the love between them, for the Salvation and deliverance of the parents.
The Spirit of the Lord, in that moment, did not have me pray against the "Gay & Lesbian" adoption privileges; maybe because it has been underway and lawful in many states for quite some time.  But I have asked the Lord, deep within, how is this possible?   Regardless, this is the day and time we live in... And no, it will Never be right...

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" Isaiah 5:20-21

But we were told of these things: "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions.  For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.  Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of a woman burned in their lust for one another, men and men committing what is shameful...."  "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness..."   Romans 2:26-29

Even in knowing these things, I don't think any of us could have imagined that one day Immorality would be so widely approved of, that even the adoption of children by these unions would be legal.    Nevertheless, here we are.

Today's Reality

I was having a conversation a few weeks ago with a family member, who is also a teacher.  She told me that she had taught a set of twins, around 7 or 8 years old, in her class; a boy and a girl.  The twins were being raised by their biological mother and her Lesbian partner.  She told me that the little girl was very outgoing and confident, but the little boy was not.  He, in fact, was the complete opposite of his sister, in that he was introverted and apprehensive about everything. But the reason for his character issues, I was told, is most likely because he did not know "what" he was.  See, the Lesbian women were raising this little boy to be "GENDERLESS."  He was never called a boy, son, young man, etc.  So when my family member, who loves the Lord and children, was made aware of these things, she carefully and strategically began to introduce the little boy to "who" or "what" God had made him to be.  She began to tell him how "strong" and "handsome" he was.  She, purposely, began doing and saying as much as possible to help this Male Child see that he was distinctively different from his sister and lesbian "parents."  At first, he looked at her strangely.  These things were definitely foreign to him. But, after a while... His grades "shotup."  He began to walk with his head up high.  He began, literally, opening doors for her and other students.  His entire countenance changed!  He began to totally understand and see the differences between he and his twin sister... and he embraced those differences!
Well, I believe this is just one example of why the Lord had me pray that prayer back in Texas that day.  It thrilled me to know that a member of my family had been used by God in that little boy's life.  But most of us may never have the hands-on experience that my family member had.

 So what can we do?

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).

Since we know that this is not a "physical" battle we're in, there must be another way to fight.  We have to pray.  We have to War, in the Spirit.  "For though we live in this world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" II Corinthians 10:3-5

I earnestly petition your prayers & War Cries in this matter.  This issue is prevalent, and if we would look, in the natural, at what is going on, the enemy might try and make us think we're in a losing battle.  But, this is not so!  We Win!  One can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight… Deuteronomy 32:30.  We Win!

The Revelation

I have a close friend who was raised by a mother that was not biologically hers.  Her story is that God used this lady to save her life; and rightly so because my friend was actually the biological child of a negligent father and teenage mother who used drugs.  She was born prematurely and spent the first 3 months of her life in the hospital.  However, she never spent time in foster care, and never knew any other life except the peaceful, secure life she was afforded by her Adoptive mother who rescued her from that unstable situation.  But as life moved on, and this beautiful woman who had raised her became ill, it was apparent that God had an unexpected end to the story of the Mother/Daughter bond he afforded the two of them.  My friend, eventually, became the saving grace of her adoptive mother who had so graciously loved, nurtured and raised her.  This beautiful woman was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and became as a child, herself.  In turn, my friend along with her husband loved, nurtured and cared for her, (as parents caring for their baby) for 12 years, until she died. See, the Lord had a plan in that situation, all along, and worked it out for both their good!

In Conclusion

Immorality is Rampant ; but the Lord Our God, is Still Sovereign.  As many have declared… “What was meant for evil, God will turn it around for good.” Just as God used a donkey to speak, He can use these people, who He loved so much that He gave His only begotten Son for,  to bless these neglected, abandoned children that are receiving the best these parents have to offer and then turn it around and work it out for the parents “eternal” good.  God Always has a plan.  But, I believe, we must pray for the spiritual and moral protection; and the salvation and covering of these children.

-Join in with me. Let’s pray.  Let’s War!  In the Spirit I see these children as an army for God… rising up, taking authority and gently “escorting” many of their parents into the Kingdom of GodYour Kingdom Come, Lord. Let Your Will Be Done On Earth as it is in Heaven!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.     2 Chronicles 7:14
