My hope is and forever will be in the Lord. I CAN Stand on His Word! Men & Women Will
fail you but The Lord Changes not. "For I Am the Lord, I do not
change;..." Malachi 3:6a
Here's My 2 Cents
I do not believe that We, as Christ Followers, have any business having "excessive"
disdain (basically hate) OR "Excessive" Passion for any particular Person or Political Party... Why?
Because, Jesus says that there is NONE good. And Hey...did we not get the memo?!
Knock, Knock...We are Citizens of the Kingdom of God!
This is all temporary and we have to keep These things In Perspective. Yes, we are
to Occupy until the Lord comes and these issues have their place, but they ought not consume us...neither cause
us to sin.
As far as the economy and every other issue facing this country right now...we have a hope.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry
about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more
than food and more than clothing?"
Then in Matthew 6:30
"Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the the oven, will He not much
more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"
And in Matthew 6:33... "But seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about Tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
This is the same hope that we are to share with the World...this is "near" Kingdom living and it's available
to all who would repent and believe.
As Far as the Candidates
Trust in the Lord with All your heart,
and Lean not to your own understanding but in ALL your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path...Proverbs 3:5-6
I know for sure that The Lord looks at and knows the Heart of Man...He knows the intentions of the
heart . He also knows what's Next. He knows what Shall be according to His plan. He knows the plan, not
only for this Country, but for the entire world. So, we probably should ask: "Lord, who are the persons running in
this election that you would have for this time and this "season" in that office?
'Cause that's who will be in there anyway! God is Sovereign. Whether we believe it
or not, things Will go as He planned.
"Thy Kingdom come, Your will be done, Lord, on
earth as it is in Heaven"
