Over
the past centuries the saints of God have been taught many things as it pertains to God our Father and Yeshua (Jesus) the
Messiah, our Lord. A great number of the pseudo truths we’ve been fed are not biblical nor from the heart of God. However,
not only have we accepted these simulated truths, we’ve become so accustomed to them that we do and think them routinely
or “robotically.” Some of us have numerous, mindless habits we’ve carried out in the
name of God so much, that in our hearts they’ve been made truth that we believe are from God, when in actuality they’re
not and never were. Furthermore, many of us have no idea that much of what we deem godly has nothing to
do with the One True God, our Father.
Two thousand plus years ago, Yeshua is questioned
by the Pharisees about the breaking of their traditions, so being the great Teacher that he is, he answers accordingly:
“
And why do you, by your traditions, violate the direct commandments of God?” Matthew 15:8-9 and Mark 7:6-7
Then to reiterate the truth of Isaiah 29:13, after expounding on his point, he quotes:
“These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. Their worship is a farce, for
they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.”
Do not be deceived. You do not have to be.
In order
to prevent being caught up in deception, one must seek the Father. Clearly, our God desires to be sought. He has to be looked
for, searched for. He has stated throughout His Word by His prophets of old and through our Savior Yeshua, that if we seek
Him we will find Him…and when we find Him we will have found Truth. Jeremiah 29:13 says:
“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with
all your heart.”
If we sincerely
desire the Truth of God, we can have it…He desires to grant it.
The
Father knows it can be difficult to put away the things we have become so accustomed to doing. He knows our weaknesses and
He, our Creator, knows that we are dust. But we must love and desire Him more than anything else in this world. He is Greater
and more powerful than the greatest stronghold and He is willing and able to deliver us. We must ask Him to give us discernment
and allow us to clearly recognize what is of Him and what is not. Tell your Father that you want to see and know Truth. Every
place that bears the name of God is not necessarily of God. Many that utter the name of the Father and Yeshua
the Messiah, our Lord, are not of Him. The false teachings, the partial-truth teachings, the money god teachings, the manipulation
for personal gain, the abusive misuse of authority not even given by our True God, the traditional, pious, false appearance
of holiness, the hierarchy’s of men, the denominational divisions, and the religious robotic systems of men are all
prevalent because of unlearned babes who aren’t seeking their Father, consequently, falling prey to the traditions
of men, ultimately being deceived by the enemy of God. But true intimacy with the Father, really
knowing Him by relentlessly seeking Him, will expose the counterfeit to the point of no return.
Seekers of Divine Truth are continually peeling off the layers of the thick, murky traditions
of men by asking, seeking, and knocking persistently - desiring as an end result, only what is of our Father and His Kingdom.
Whom the Son Sets free is Free indeed!
