The name Luvmo actually originated in 1991 as a Music Publishing Company, Luvmo Publishing with BMI.  Its owner and sole songwriter/composer, Cynthia Liggins Thomas, began recording and publishing  her songs, in addition to joining in with co-writing opportunities; and therefore found the need to form the company. In 1992 Cynthia recorded her first album as an independent and Luvmo Music was born.

After signing a recording agreement in 1998, and working in the Gospel Music Industry for several years, she and her husband, Averriel M. Thomas, once again, independently launched out... and in 2003, under Luvmo Music llc, they released their First National recording and Music Video.  Since its inception, it has been the goal of Averriel and Cynthia to stay true to who they are, and to the purpose of Luvmo, "Sharing God's Love Through The Music."         More About Cynthia
